Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered through the Online Store. We sell online services to adults and organizations.

Description of the Services

Katariina Mäki Oy offers online courses and webinars. The courses are hosted on the Koulutuskone cloud platform. More information about the platform is available at:

Ordering Online Courses and Webinars

Participation in online courses and Webinars requires registration and purchasing the selected product through the Online Store shopping cart. A valid email address must be provided when placing an order. To use the services, the customer must have an internet connection and a computer or mobile device capable of accessing the internet.

Prices are charged according to the price list in effect at the time of purchase. Prices include applicable VAT. No delivery charges apply to digital services. We reserve the right to change prices and these Terms and Conditions.

All orders are confirmed by email. The order confirmation serves as the payment receipt, and no separate receipt will be sent. The order confirmation is also available in the customer’s account in the Online Store.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to the Terms and Conditions in force at the time of purchase.

Cancellation of Online Course Purchases

Access to the online course is granted immediately after payment. This means that the provision of the digital service begins electronically with the customer’s express consent before the end of the statutory 14-day withdrawal period for distance sales.

Therefore, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to online courses purchased through the Online Store.

Technical Issues

If technical or other issues arise while using the Online Store or online courses, the customer should contact the Online Store as soon as possible by email.

Payment

Payments are processed by Visma Pay (Visma Payments Oy, Business ID 2486559-4), a licensed payment institution registered with the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. Payments are made through the Visma Pay online payment service. The payment recipient shown on your bank statement or invoice will be either Visma Pay or Visma Payments Oy. Visma Pay transfers payments to the Online Store. All payment transactions are processed using encrypted connections, ensuring secure handling of payment information.

The sales agreement is concluded between the customer and the Online Store. The Online Store is responsible for all obligations related to the sale.

MobilePay

You may pay using your MobilePay wallet if online payments have been enabled in your MobilePay settings. Payments are charged to the payment card connected to your MobilePay wallet. If the card charge fails, payment via MobilePay cannot be completed.

Jousto Invoice and Installments

Jousto is a Finnish payment service that allows fast and secure purchases. It is available to private individuals with a good credit history.

Jousto offers:

  • 30 days interest-free payment
  • Installment plans of up to 36 monthly payments
  • Monthly payments starting from €9.90

The installment plan includes:

  • Monthly fee: €3.90
  • Interest rate: 19.90%

Purchases between €30 and €3,000 are eligible. Credit is provided by Aurajoki Nordic Oy.

OP Invoice

OP Invoice offers a flexible way to pay for online purchases and is available to customers of all Finnish banks. You may make purchases of up to €5,000 and pay the balance interest-free within 45 days. You may also divide the payment into installments.

To use OP Invoice, you must:

  • be over 20 years old,
  • be creditworthy, and
  • have Finnish online banking credentials.
